Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The direction of Malang City's development in 2025 was recorded in the Plenary Meeting of the Malang City DPRD with the agenda of Delivering General Views of Factions on the Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda) of the 2025 Fiscal Year APBD in the Plenary Meeting Room of the Malang City DPRD, Tuesday (19/11/2024). On this occasion, seven factions in the Malang City DPRD conveyed their general views on the 2025 Malang City APBD Draft Regulation.
Responding to what was conveyed by the factions, Acting Mayor of Malang Iwan Kurniawan said that his party would immediately follow up on the general views of the factions regarding the IX East Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) and athlete development. As previously informed, the 2025 East Java Porprov will be held in Malang Raya (Malang City, Malang Regency and Batu City).
"Hopefully, if there are no obstacles, we will provide answers and explanations for what all factions have conveyed," explained Iwan.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Malang City DPRD, Amithya Ratnanggani Sirraduhita, said that for the implementation of the 9th East Java Porprov, further coordination and careful planning were needed, considering that the host was Malang Raya.
"The venues for the sports branches competed in the 2025 Porprov will involve cooperation with Malang Regency and Batu City due to the limited venues in Malang City," explained Mia, the nickname for Amithya Ratnaggani Sirraduhita.
Second, regarding the budget and its allocation, according to her, it must be planned carefully. Mia hopes that there is seriousness in the budget post and also the allocation of the budget must all be clear.
"We want to explore the changes made in the budget, and make sure everything is ready before collaborating as the host of Porprov 2025 with Malang Regency and Batu City," concluded Mia. (cah/yn)
