Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operation Area 8 Surabaya has a health clinic service that not only serves KAI workers, but also serves the general public and BPJS patients. This clinic provides various health services consisting of general practitioner examinations, dentists, and pharmacy services.
Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 8 Surabaya, Luqman Arif, when met on Thursday (21/11/2024) said that KAI Daop 8 Surabaya has five health clinics in Daop 8, namely the Mediska Sidotopo Surabaya Clinic, the Mediska Surabaya Gubeng Clinic, the Mediska Mojokerto Clinic, the Mediska Sidoarjo Clinic, and the Mediska Malang Clinic.
In Malang City, Mediska Clinic Malang is located at Jl. Gajahmada No.15, Klojen District, Malang City. "The operational hours of Mediska Clinic are Monday-Thursday starting at 08.00 WIB - 15.00 WIB, Friday-Saturday at 08.00 WIB - 14.00 WIB," he explained.
He further stated that in the period of January - October 2024, Mediska Clinic Malang has served 4.146 patients, consisting of 1.784 BPJS patients, 119 general patients, 2.243 family and worker patients. Overall, Mediska Clinic in Daop 8 Surabaya has seven general practitioners, six dentists, and pharmacy services.
Mediska Clinic Malang has received full accreditation from the Ministry of Health. In addition, Mediska Clinic also serves government programs such as the Covid-19 Vaccine and TB disease management.
KAI Daop 8 Surabaya hopes that the presence of KAI's health services in the Malang City area can help customers and the surrounding community when they need access to health services with verified quality standards according to requirements.
The presence of this new clinic also received appreciation from the Head of the Malang City Health Office, dr. Husnul Muarif. According to him, the presence of this clinic will help the community when they need health services.
