Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Joy and enthusiasm radiated from the faces of the children who participated in the coloring competition and fashion show at the Cemorokandang Village Office, Sunday (24/11/2024). Adorable, that's the word that describes the children's expressions in the event opened by the Head of PAUD Cemorokandang Village Dian Ika Kristiningtyas.
Dian said that this activity was attended by children aged 3-6 years in the Cemorokandang Subdistrict area. Through this competition, it is expected to develop creativity and develop fine motor skills and train children's concentration.
"By participating in competitions like this, children will also train their courage and shape their mental quality in competing, increase their appreciation of art and of course develop their talents and interests," explained the woman who also serves as the Chairperson of the TP PKK of Cemorokandang Village.
This activity, which is a form of collaboration between the sub-district and the Cemorokandang Sub-district Children's Forum and Karang Taruna, was held to celebrate Universal Children's Day which fell on November 20, 2024.
"We want to activate the role of the Children's Forum and Karang Taruna of Cemorokandang Village to actively participate in activities in the village, because they are the ones who will become the next generation. So with activities like this they can start practicing," concluded Dian. (ari/yn)
