Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The light rain that poured down on Malang City did not reduce the solemnity of the 53rd Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony of the Indonesian Civil Servant Corps (Korpri) and the 79th Anniversary of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) in the yard of Malang City Hall, Friday (29/11/2024).
Acting Mayor of Malang Iwan Kurniawan appreciated the holding of this ceremony which he said was a form of commitment to maintaining synergy and collaboration between the Malang City Government (Pemkot) together with Korpri and PGRI.
"Hopefully in the implementation of this Korpri and PGRI day, our hopes will continue to synergize and collaborate for the nation, state, and the city of Malang," he said.
Quoting President Prabowo Subianto's direction, Iwan hopes that in the future Korpri as an organization can play an active role and provide color and innovation to programs that are in line with government programs. "Earlier from the remarks from the President, the hope is that the Korpri organization can reactivate and innovate existing programs, which have been prepared to then be synergized with government programs in their respective regions," he explained.
The same hope was also conveyed in the context of the 79th anniversary of PGRI. With innovation and good synergy, Iwan hopes that teachers in Malang City can always provide the best education for school students, especially in Malang City.
By providing the best education and teaching patterns, achievements that can make Malang City proud. "Daya also hopes that teachers can give their best to educate school children in Malang City, so that they can achieve and bring the good name of Malang City, both in Malang City and the province and nationally and even internationally," he concluded.
On this occasion, the Satyalancana Karya Satya award was also symbolically given as a sign of honor for the loyalty and dedication of Malang City Civil Servants in carrying out their duties. The awarding of the Satyalencana Karya Satya Honorary Medal for the August 2024 period was given to 22 people for 30 years of service, 58 people for 20 years of service and 169 people for 10 years of service.
