Bambang Shita Hospital Officially Operates

Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Assistant for Government and Public Welfare of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni ​​representing the Acting Mayor of Malang was present to inaugurate the Bambang Shita Hospital located on Jl. Joyo Agung Regency, Merjosari Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City, Thursday (5/12/2024).

Assistant for Government and Public Welfare of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni, representing the Acting Mayor of Malang, inaugurated the Bambang Shita Hospital.

On behalf of the Malang City Government, Ida congratulated the inauguration of the Type D Hospital. "Of course, with the inauguration of Bambang Shita Hospital, it will increase health facilities and infrastructure that facilitate public health access," said Ida, the nickname of Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni.

Increasing the level of public health, said Ida, is an absolute target that the Malang City Government always wants to achieve. This is an implementation of the mandate of Law Number 23 of 1992 which was later updated to Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health.

In addition, in the 1945 Constitution Article 28 H paragraph 1 states that every citizen has the right to live prosperously, physically and mentally, to have a place to live, and to have a good and healthy living environment. "To achieve this, health development that includes regulations, human resources, funding sources, and facilities and infrastructure must be carried out properly," explained Ida.

In line with this, one of the development programs of the Malang City Government is focused on improving access and quality of health services as well as community involvement which is an important key to achieving better health goals.

Ida emphasized that to improve the health of the community, the basic mandatory service that must be prepared by the government is the existence of a hospital. "This is certainly to make it easier for the community to access health services. The facilities in this hospital are also adequate, including doctors and health workers," explained the smiling woman.

On the same occasion, the Director of Bambang Shita Hospital, dr. Teddy Prawiro, MHKes., M.MRS., C.HKn., C.SMC revealed that Bambang Shita Hospital is a type D private general hospital under the ownership of PT Bambang Shita Husada which continues to grow.

"We always strive to improve high-quality health services by improving human resources, which are also supported by modern medical equipment," he explained.

Bambang Shita Hospital has a capacity of 51 inpatient beds, 24-hour emergency services, ICU facilities equipped with ventilators, trauma center, specialist polyclinics ranging from orthopedics to children, and other health facilities. (cah/yn)
