Of course, to realize this vision, real steps must be taken.

Malang City DWP Supervisor Erik Setyo Santoso gave a welcoming speech

That was emphasized by the Advisor of DWP Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso representing the Acting Mayor of Malang when opening the 25th anniversary of DWP which raised the theme 'Strengthening the Foundation of DWP Organizational Transformation Towards Golden Indonesia 2045' at the Malang Creative Center (MCC) Building, Malang City, Thursday (12/12/2024).

"This theme is very relevant to the spirit of the current era, which demands synergy and innovation in various sectors. This quarter-century is not only a moment of reflection on the organization's journey, but also a starting point to further strengthen DWP's role in supporting national development," added the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City.

As an effort to strengthen the foundation of DWP's organizational transformation, Erik mentioned several things that could be of common concern. Among others, the importance of DWP to continue to improve the quality and capacity of its members through continuous education and training. Then, skills development programs, both in managerial and technical fields, according to him, need to be prioritized so that DWP members are ready to face the dynamics of changing times.

Next is the importance of increasing the role and active participation of all DWP members. "Through collaboration and synergy with various parties, both government, private, and community, he said DWP can be a driving force by integrating programs that are in line with development goals.

"Whether it is through women's empowerment, early childhood education, to strengthening families in order to realize community welfare. In the era of digitalization and globalization, the ability to innovate and adapt is the key to success," said Erik.

Erik further advised that DWP must be able to utilize information technology to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization. For example, the use of digital media in communication and reporting which can certainly speed up the work process and expand the reach of information.

"Facing the challenges of the times, it is important for DWP to remain steadfast in the organization's core values, such as integrity, professionalism, and social concern. These values will be the moral and ethical foundations in every step and decision taken," Erik said again.

On this occasion, Erik also emphasized that DWP should focus more on impactful programs and be more selective in choosing work programs that truly provide benefits to the community.

"Hopefully with these steps and efforts, DWP Malang City will continue to transform into a more adaptive, inclusive, and visionary organization. With the spirit of togetherness, I am sure DWP can be part of a great force that will help bring Indonesia to its glory in 2045," he concluded. (say/yn)
