Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In order to improve driver discipline and create more orderly traffic conditions, the Malang City Transportation Agency (Dishub) is intensifying operations to control goods and passenger vehicles. This operation is routinely held on Jalan Ki Ageng Gribig, Madyopuro Village, Kedungkandang District, which is one of the exit accesses of Malang City that is often passed.
Head of the Malang City Transportation Agency, Widjaja Saleh Putra, when met on Monday (16/12/2024) revealed that the intensification of the control operations was carried out because it coincided with the moment leading up to the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays.
This operation includes checking vehicle administration and technical completeness such as KIR test. "If violations and dangers are found, we will take firm action, including ticketing according to procedure," said Widjaja.
He added, in addition to Jalan Ki Ageng Gribig, vehicle inspections were also carried out on Jalan Raya Langsep and Jalan Kembar Bumiayu. However, the operation was carried out flexibly according to needs.
"We appeal and request that owners of large vehicles or drivers carrying goods and/or people comply with the applicable regulations, both in terms of load capacity and completeness of vehicle legality in order to prevent traffic accidents," concluded the man who is familiarly called Jaya. (say/yn)
