"In the next 15 days we will enter 2025. Therefore, immediately complete the 2024 APBD journey. What must be complete and responsible must be fulfilled immediately," he said.

The year 2025 is a transition period for the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) or a technocratic design that has been prepared with the leading sector of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda). "This RPJMD will later be integrated with the vision and mission of the elected regional head and deputy regional head, so this RPJMD must be of high quality, because it will eventually become a regional regulation. The RPJMD must be well understood and its programs must be sustainable," continued Regional Secretary Erik.

In addition, Erik requested that ASN as public servants must understand and implement the applicable rules or regulations. This is because when someone commits to becoming a state apparatus, the consequence is that they must obey the applicable rules.

Erik further said that the regulations contained in laws, regional regulations, and so on must be fully understood as a basis for ASN in moving. "The rules were made with various considerations and strong thoughts and for the good. So far, no rules have been made only to benefit certain groups. Compliance with the rules, norms and culture must be maintained," he said.

On this occasion, the Regional Secretary of Malang City did not forget to remind the challenges for ASN in the midst of the advancement of information technology like today. The speed of information that can almost penetrate space and time must be watched out for. "We must follow the progress of information technology, and be wise in its use," he concluded. (say/yn)
