The inauguration took place at Tangerang Live Room, Tangerang City, Banten and was attended directly by the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian and the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), Maruarar Sirait. In his direction, the Minister of Home Affairs asked regional heads to provide fast service to the public when taking care of permits, especially PBG services.

"Initially we programmed 45 days, but then it became 10 days and in the future it should be in hours. Like what happened in the South Tangerang City Government, there were 4 hours, 2 hours and even less than 1 hour when the permit files were complete and uploaded to the online service system," explained Minister of Home Affairs Tito.

In relation to this, the Ministry of Home Affairs gave appreciation and recognition to the South Tangerang City Government for providing excellent service. The Minister of Home Affairs also said that his party would later monitor the implementation of similar services in each district/city and province.

Responding to this, Acting Mayor of Malang Iwan Kurniawan said that his party would replicate and implement the services requested by the Minister of Home Affairs. "The day before today's event, we have sent ASN representatives to conduct a study tour to the South Tangerang City Government and attend the event held by the Ministry of Home Affairs," he said.

"This is a very good service, and will greatly help the residents. There is nothing wrong if we replicate positive programs carried out by other local governments. Later, the ASN representatives that we send will convey the results, and then immediately implement them," said Iwan.

He further said that according to the direction of the Minister of Home Affairs, PBG services will be free for Low-Income Communities (MBR).

The Minister of Home Affairs' move also received appreciation from the Minister of Housing and Residential Areas, Maruarar Sirait. According to him, this is an extraordinary program breakthrough. (say/yn)
