Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Health Office (Dinkes) will roll out a Free Health Check-up (PKG) program for residents who celebrate their birthdays. This national program from the central government is planned to be implemented in early February while waiting for technical instructions for implementation.

Head of the Malang City Health Office, dr. Husnul Muarif revealed that his party is currently starting to prepare the First Phase Health Facilities (FKTP) as the program implementer. "The FKTP in question are health centers/labkesda and clinics that partner with BPJS Kesehatan. So far there are 16 health centers, one labkesda and 58 clinics as implementers," added dr. Husnul, Monday (20/1/2025).
The PKG program will run until December 2025 and is intended for residents starting from the age of one. Although the plan is to implement it in February, residents whose birthdays fall in January are still allowed to participate in this program.
Furthermore, Dr. Husnul explained the preparations made, namely health facilities and infrastructure, including supporting equipment for heart health checks, ultrasound for pregnant women, and laboratories for liver health checks and other organs. "We will also check the capabilities of the health centers and clinics so that later everything will run well," he explained.
This free health check-up program is valid only for residents who are celebrating their birthday on that day with a data collection system based on the Population Identification Number (NIK) and or domicile which will later be coordinated with the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) of Malang City.
