Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Representative Office (KPw) of Bank Indonesia Malang held a public dialogue Road to Sekartaji (Synergy Towards a Creative, Resilient, Tested and Digitalized Economy) 2025 – Gunung Sari 'Synergy for a More Resilient and Superior Economy and Achieving Inclusive Growth' at the Atria Hotel, Malang City, Tuesday (21/1/2025).

The public discussion, which presented speakers from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), and academics, was attended by participants from various elements of financial institutions, such as commercial banks, Islamic banks, cooperatives and Rural Credit Banks (BPR).
Globally, this discussion discusses the direction of national economic policies and challenges in 2025, synergies for recovery and sustainable growth. In addition, various factors that are levers for strengthening the economy are also discussed.
Met after the event, Head of Bank Indonesia Malang Representative Office, Febrina said that her party invited and encouraged various elements to continue strengthening the economy, especially in the regions. Some elements that will be supporters include the consumption sector, investment, regional spending and more creative financing.
"No less important, the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program rolled out by the government also has... multiply effect significant, especially to leverage the consumption sector. We deliberately made efforts to strengthen this synergy at the beginning of the year, the economy this year is better than last year," added the woman in the hijab.
Meanwhile, the Assistant for Economy and Development of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Diah Ayu Kusuma Dewi, who also attended the event, expressed her appreciation. According to her, from this event, her party can capture the development and economic growth in Malang City, especially in 2024.
"From what is depicted, it can be used as a reference to continue strengthening the economy in 2025. We will later discuss the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), and various factors that support economic strengthening must be conveyed," added the bespectacled woman.
Diah explained, such as education, health, reducing unemployment and poverty rates and food security programs will be priorities. "In addition to being presented during the preparation of the RPJMD, it was also presented during public consultations during the discussion of the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD)," he explained.
Despite all that, the woman in hijab said that economic growth in Malang City is still good, which is above four percent. "In the future, we will continue to do various strengthening so that the economy continues to grow, at least up to five percent," concluded Diah. (say/yn)
