Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) team reviewed the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) at SDN Lowokwaru 3, Malang City, Friday (24/1/2025). This review was carried out in order to support the acceleration of the free nutritious meal program in a number of areas.

The MBG program at SDN Lowokwaru 3 is fully supported by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program from the technology-based digital ecosystem company GoTo, which collaborates with the Malang City Government (Pemkot).
Assistant Deputy for Formulation of Public Service Policy System and Strategy of the Ministry of PANRB Muhammad Yusuf Kurniawan expressed his appreciation for the collaboration and digitalization innovation carried out in supporting the smooth running of the MBG program at SDN Lowokwaru 3. "Collaboration like this can be a reference for other regions with adjustments, according to the potential in each region. The implementation also has options, both manually and digitally according to their conditions, such as what will be implemented later," he said.
Yusuf assessed that the implementation of the MBG program digitally is an innovative breakthrough, because in addition to making it easier, the process of implementing the MBG digitally can also be more easily accounted for.
"This accountability is very important, especially here we see the trust factor, what is the public's trust in this program like? When we can be accountable with this amount of funds, children's nutrition can be met, the menu choices are like this, all can be seen. Later it can also be measured by the public, how is the development of the child after this program," he said.
Related to the digitalization innovation, Head of Public Policy Government Relations at GoTo (Regional East Java, Bali & Nusa Tenggara) Charly Raya said the digitalization process carried out in the implementation of the MBG Program is a form of support from GoTo in making the central government program a success. With digitalization, Charly hopes that the implementation of the MBG Program can be carried out more efficiently and accountably.
"Hopefully, with increasing digitalization, the accountability and responsibility that we can provide to the community, MSMEs and the government as stakeholders will be more transparent and accountable," he said.
Charly hopes that in the future GoTo's collaboration through this CSR program can continue to be carried out not only at SDN Lowokwaru 3, but also at other schools in Malang City and other cities. GoTo itself targets three million elementary school students (SD) throughout Indonesia to receive benefits from the CSR program that is distributed. In addition, his party also invites other companies to collaborate to make MBG a success, which is a flagship program of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran.
"We also invite other companies in Indonesia to collaborate to help the government make the MBG program a success. Our hope, most importantly, is that all children in Indonesia can get good nutrition through this MBG program," he concluded. (iu/yn)
