Malang City (malangkota.go.id) – The government, through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), has determined the purchase Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) 3 kilograms as of February 1, 2025 will only be fully served at Pertamina's Official Base and will no longer be available at retailers. Pertamina Patra Niaga is moving quickly to prepare access links to the nearest points of 3 kg LPG bases located around the community's location.
"For the convenience of the public in finding the nearest 3 kg LPG base, we have prepared access to find the nearest base via the link https://subsiditepatlpg.mypertamina.id/infolpg3kg or you can request information via Call Center 135," explained Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari in a written statement.
Furthermore, Heppy said that in principle, Pertamina Patra Niaga will implement the policy set by the Government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources regarding the distribution of 3 kg LPG. The public is also advised to buy directly at official bases.
Separately, the Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus, Ahad Rahedi, when met on Monday (3/1/2025) said that when purchased at an official base, 3 kg LPG is certainly cheaper than at retailers because the price sold is in accordance with the HET (Highest Retail Price) set by the local government of each region.
"Currently, the total number of Pertamina Regional Jatimbalinus 3 kg LPG bases has reached more than 46 thousand bases, with more than 36 thousand bases spread across East Java, more than five thousand bases in Bali and more than four thousand bases in West Nusa Tenggara," explained Ahad.
Another advantage, purchases at official 3 kg LPG bases are also more guaranteed in terms of measurements because the bases provide scales so that people can ensure the weight of 3 kg LPG. "Retailers can also become bases after meeting the applicable provisions," concluded Ahad. (say/yn)
