Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – The Cooperatives, Industry and Trade Service (Diskopindag) of Malang City will hold an export socialization for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at the Tuwuh Hotel (Sahid Montana Hotel) on Jl. Kahuripan No. 9 Malang City on Thursday (13/2/2025). Diskopindag opens participant registration at https://s.id/SosialisasiEkspor2025 which has been announced through the Malang City Diskopindag social media. Registration has been open since February 1-10 with a maximum quota limit of 40 MSME actors.
Head of the Trade Division of the Malang City Trade and Industry Office, Luh Putu Eka Wilantari, when confirmed on Thursday (6/2/2025), revealed that the requirements for MSMEs who want to join are having a business in Malang City, their products have export potential, and have a Business Identification Number (NIB).
"Don't be afraid to register, because everyone has the opportunity to become a participant. This is a golden opportunity to penetrate the overseas market. All registrants will be selected first by Diskopindag," he explained.
Eka said that the purpose of holding this trade mission socialization was for MSMEs to move up a class and be able to penetrate the export market, so that they can reach a wider market in the future.
"We will present competent speakers in their fields, namely from Malang Customs. Later, it will be explained how the export process is and what are the requirements for MSMEs when they want to penetrate the foreign market," added Eka.
In addition, there will also be UMKM actors who have successfully exported or whose products have sold in several countries. These speakers will share knowledge and experience. "This is so that other UMKM actors do not need to be afraid to do the same thing. In addition, so that other negative things are not embedded, such as considering it complicated and pessimistic about exporting," continued Eka. (say/yn)
