Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The General Election Commission (KPU) of Malang City has determined the Wahyu Hidayat-Ali Muthohirin pair as the elected Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Malang for the 2025-2030 period. The announcement of the KPU Malang City decision regarding the determination of the candidate pair for mayor and deputy mayor in the 2024 Malang Mayoral and Deputy Mayoral Election was held at the Atria Hotel, Malang City, Friday night (7/2/2024)
At this moment, the Chairman of the Malang City KPU, Muhammad Toyib also submitted a copy of the decision letter to the relevant parties, namely the Malang City Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), the supporting parties and nominators of the elected mayoral and deputy mayoral candidates, as well as to the Malang City Government.
"The process and implementation of the democratic party in Malang City has been running well, safely, conducively and with quality. This achievement is thanks to the participation of all parties, starting from the community, media, TNI-Polri, and the Malang City Government which provides full support," explained Toyib.
The Assistant for Government and Public Welfare of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni, conveyed the same thing. She also invited all levels of society and all parties to continue to strengthen harmony and solidarity. According to her, different choices of leadership candidates during general elections are commonplace.
"Currently, Malang City already has a constitutionally legitimate leader candidate and the result of a good democratic party. Let's unite our steps to build a better Malang City in the future," said Ida.
