The Acting Mayor of Malang also continues to monitor the rehabilitation process. This time, together with related staff, the TSP Forum, and business actors who have participated in this program, Iwan reviewed the progress at SDN Ketawanggede, TPS Sulfat and TPS Merjosari, Friday (14/2/2025). In this review, a ceremonial handover of the rehabilitation of SDN Ketawanggede 3 and revitalization of the TPS was also carried out.

"From the results of the previous shopping problem there was a need for school rehabilitation, then we came here to see it directly. One month later the construction had begun, and now it has been completed, and has even been used," said Iwan when giving a statement at SDN Ketawanggede.

From the shopping problem, Iwan has set 11 priority programs with funding from various sources. The Acting Mayor of Malang also revealed that his party has mapped out the budget sources to run his work program. Among them are the revitalization of the Malang Big Market funded by the APBN, the flood problem in the Soekarno-Hatta area proposed to be funded by the Provincial APBD. In addition, there is also a plan to build a school with funding sourced from the Malang City APBD worth five billion rupiah.

"This means the contribution of the APBN, APBD Province, and APBD city, then there is also a contribution from business actors. This is a good model to be continued, replicated. It turns out that according to the laws and regulations, the implementation of development can not only use the APBD funds of Malang City," explained Iwan who is currently also the Director of Planning, Evaluation, and Information for Regional Development at the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri).

Iwan believes that the collaboration between the Malang City Government and business actors can be a lesson, that in development, the participation of various parties is needed. The number of business actors recorded by the Malang City Government together with the TSP Forum is currently around 2.000 business actors. 150 of them have been invited to discuss to establish collaboration to build Malang City.

"Thank you to the business actors who have contributed to the 11 development priorities of Malang City. For entrepreneurs out there, let's improve the collaboration models that are highly anticipated by the community and the Malang City Government," he said.

Regarding budget efficiency, according to President Prabowo's instructions, Iwan said that this collaboration model with business actors will certainly have a big role in implementing development, such as in the world of education and health, social assistance, and fundamental things that can have an impact on increasing PAD and public services.

"So there is no problem for Malang City regarding efficiency, because it can collaborate with other sources. So we invite again, let's strengthen collaboration and synergy with business actors. With funding sources from business actors, it turns out that it is possible, and faster to execute, not dependent on the APBN and APBD," he concluded.

Meanwhile, one of the representatives of the TSP Forum, Dr. Lisa Setiawati, MMRS, said that the TSP Forum is ready to mobilize cooperation from the private sector in CSR activities to assist the development activities of the Malang City Government, including the revitalization of elementary school and TPS buildings.

"Very grateful today to be able to carry out the handover and the community can enjoy the benefits. We hope that the cooperation and coordination of the Malang City Government with the CSR of the private sector will be increasingly solid. The communication that is always established between the Malang City Government and the TSP Forum makes CSR focused, documented, synergistic and beneficial," said the Director of the Panti Waluya Sawahan Hospital.

Lisa added that the TSP Forum will continue CSR programs in various sectors and participate in the realization of proposals from the Musrenbang that have not been fulfilled by the APBN/APBD.

For information, the financing of the rehabilitation of SDN Ketawanggede worth Rp611.744.000,00 was carried out entirely by PT Sapta Tunggal Surya Abadi.
