Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) ensures that the implementation of Presidential Instruction No. 1/2025 concerning Spending Efficiency in the Implementation of the 2025 State Budget and Regional Budget will not hinder the implementation of tasks and work programs. This is because efficiency has been carried out for a long time and various activities carried out so far have been optimal.
This was emphasized by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso after opening the Socialization of Enforcement of Regional Regulations of Malang City at the Atria Hotel, Tuesday (18/2/2025). Sekda Erik added that the spirit of efficiency for Malang City is not something new and has been done for a long time. For employee spending and public services continue to run as they should and there are no obstacles.
"For savings or efficiency, we have been implementing targeted activities since several years ago. This means how the budget owned by Malang City is truly targeted. So being effective and efficient has been our soul for a long time," he said.
Likewise, regarding saving office infrastructure, it is a common thing and has been implemented for a long time. "The implementation of paperless, the development of applications for public services, we have also been doing for a long time. Efforts to save by turning off lights, AC, have also been running for a long time," he added.
Meanwhile, regarding the reduction in the infrastructure budget in DPUPRPKP, Erik explained that the reduction in the infrastructure budget was the central transfer fund. "So there is infrastructure financing whose source is from central funds that is reduced. But we are optimistic that the reduction can be returned from optimizing PAD, so that in the end it can be implemented properly again," he concluded. (say/yn)
