Ahmad Mabrur in his speech appreciated the general pengajian held in order to welcome the Holy Month of Ramadan. According to him, activities like this are very good for building a smart generation, both intellectually, emotionally and spiritually to welcome the Golden Indonesia. "Let's all educate the generation of this nation as best as possible, so that in the future it can become a great generation," said Mabrur.

On this occasion, Mabrur also invited all the congregation to pray for the newly inaugurated leaders of Malang City, namely Wahyu HIdayat and Ali Muthohirin, so that they can carry out their mandate as Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Malang well.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Salafiyah Al Hidayah Islamic Boarding School, KH. Ahmad Rozi, revealed that this general religious study is an annual routine agenda held ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

"Alhamdulillah, before the peak of today's event, on February 16, a musabaqh was held, both for tahfiz and tartil Al-Qur'an which is held once a year," explained Rozi.

It was stated that this activity was carried out as a realization that in Pisangcandi Village Islamic religious education has been running well. As a closing, in the evening a general haul was held which means commemorating the day of death.

"The Pisangcandi community is aware and remembers their ancestors and forefathers, that's why every year before Ramadan they together send prayers by reciting the holy verses of the Qur'an," he concluded. (cah/yn)
