Head of the Malang City Food and Agriculture Service, Slamet Husnan, said that this program is an effort to support the realization of food self-sufficiency which is a priority program in President Prabowo Subianto's Asta Cita.

"This has become a national program for food self-sufficiency. Through this program, it is hoped that farmers' welfare will increase and community food security will be more assured," he said.

This year's corn harvest was carried out on land owned by a farmer named H. Sujono in Bumiayu Village, Kedungkandang District, with a land area of 2.500 square meters.
