Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat and Malang Deputy Mayor Ali Muthohirin were welcomed at Malang City Hall, Friday evening (28/2/2025) after attending a leadership orientation or retreat at the Magelang Military Academy (Akmil) with regional heads throughout Indonesia after being inaugurated by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat said that this meaningful welcome was a valuable momentum and also marked that the extended family of the Malang City Government had accepted and given their trust to walk side by side in building the beloved region.
"For that, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all regional apparatuses in Malang City. What has been done is an encouragement for us to give our best for Malang City," he added.
To move forward together, according to Wahyu, there needs to be a shared commitment. "Currently, the first thing we need to do is we must be able to leave behind the differences that existed during the last regional elections, and focus on the common goal of building this city to be more advanced, competitive and full of innovation," he invited.
With the spirit of reconciliation and togetherness, he believes that he will be able to create harmony and solid cooperation to realize a better regional vision and mission for all. "To that end, I invite all regional apparatuses to put aside sectoral egos and focus on improving work and performance, unite and work together with the community," Wahyu invited again.
This spirit, Wahyu said, will create a strong synergy in facing development challenges. According to him, collaboration not only accelerates the achievement of goals, but also strengthens the sense of togetherness and collective responsibility in realizing common welfare.
"Let us continue to strengthen synergy and collaboration for the next five years full of hope, progress, and prosperity. Be assured that the spirit of togetherness, solid cooperation, and high dedication will be able to bring about real change that brings benefits to all levels of society," he said.
Wahyu further emphasized that togetherness can realize a better life for a bright and sustainable future. "With all that, Malang City will be even better in the future, and become a classy mbois city," he concluded. (say/yn).
