Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat led the Morning Roll Call of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) in the yard of Malang City Hall, Monday (3/3/2025). This roll call was also the first moment since Wahyu was officially inaugurated as Mayor of Malang for the 2025-2029 period with Deputy Mayor of Malang Ali Muthohirin and then attended a series of leadership orientations (retreats) which just ended last Friday (28/2/2025).
In his direction, Wahyu invited all ASN in the Malang City Government to strengthen collaboration and synergy in providing the best service to the community, as well as building Malang City through the vision of Towards a Beautiful and Classy Malang.
“It's the first day, I'm going to go full throttle. in.. Of course, I will ask for support from all my friends to continue to accompany and accompany my programs so that they can be realized," said Wahyu.
Wahyu, who previously served as Acting Mayor of Malang, emphasized the importance for all ASN to know and understand the regional vision and mission which have also been stated in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) so that all ASN can carry out the vision and mission well.
“Full throttle! So we immediately action priority programs, including the results of me and the Deputy Mayor attending the retreat at Akmil Magelang, because it must be perpendicular to what we will do and implement. Regarding programs that have been running such as the repair of Pasar Besar, later I will ask for a detailed report to find out the progress. What is clear is that the program from the Governor and Deputy Governor, one of which is that we will control inflation because it is the month of Ramadan," he explained.
On this occasion, Wahyu emphasized his commitment to increasing transparency and accountability, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of services and development, and strengthening cross-sector cooperation.
“After this, I will sowan to Forkopimda to introduce themselves as new officials even though they have known each other before. We will discuss, then gather the heads of regional apparatus to evaluate the 2025 programs. The main priority is the programs stated in the vision and mission as well as the efficiency aspect," he concluded. (yul/yn)
