Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Head of the East Java Province Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) Team, Arumi Bachsin Emil Dardak, was present to lead the handover ceremony of the Head of the Malang City PKK TP in the Meeting Room of the Malang City Hall, Wednesday (12/3/2025). The handover which was carried out as a form of leadership continuity was carried out from the retired Acting Head of the Malang City PKK TP Septiana Iwan Kurniawan to the Head of the PKK TP for the 2025-2030 period Hanik Andriani Wahyu Hidayat.
In her direction, Arumi reminded that TP PKK is a government partner to support the vision, mission and work program of the regional head. Arumi invited to further strengthen the TP PKK institution from the city level to the smallest region in the field of human resource capacity.
"My hope is that we will also revive the dasa wisma, because it can be a weapon for the Head of TP PKK and the Mayor to provide guidance (for the community). There are also posyandu cadres who must continue to be given training to improve their capacity, especially in handling stunting," he said.
On this occasion, Arumi also asked the Malang City PKK TP to focus on priority programs that have a direct impact on the community. "At the city level, the PKK TP must also have priority programs, because our community has different characteristics, such as programs urban farming "We really appreciate what is being implemented in Malang City," he said.
Furthermore, the wife of the Deputy Governor of East Java invited TP PKK to strengthen innovation and adaptation, especially in the use of information technology. In addition, TP PKK is also expected to always synergize by collaborating with regional apparatus and related institutions.
On the same occasion, Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat emphasized the importance of close synergy between the Malang City Government and TP PKK to realize the vision of 'Towards a Beautiful and Classy Malang'. "TP PKK has an important role in strengthening programs that directly touch the basic needs of residents. With solid cooperation, we ensure that every initiative that is carried out can provide real and beneficial impacts for the welfare of families in Malang City," said Wahyu.
In addition, the number one person in the Malang City Government advised TP PKK to play an active role in preparing superior human resources in order to welcome Golden Indonesia 2045, especially in accelerating the reduction in stunting rates and fulfilling family nutrition.
"I believe that TP PKK has a strong role in mobilizing and empowering families, as well as educating and encouraging healthy lifestyles, so that it can contribute to the realization of a smart and productive generation. Including the role in the integrated health service post which is the front guard of health services," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of TP PKK Malang City Hanik Andriani Wahyu Hidayat is committed to bringing PKK Malang City towards a more progressive and adaptive direction to the development of the times. Hanik also invited all parties, starting from the ranks of TP PKK at the city level to RT, Malang City Government, and the entire community to collaborate with each other.
