Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Strengthening the ties of friendship and togetherness with the community, the Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat, together with the ranks of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) conducted a Ramadan Safari at the Baitul Jannah Mosque, Wednesday evening (12/3/2025).
In his speech, the Mayor of Malang expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all the congregation and administrators of the Baitul Jannah Mosque and all levels of the Forkopimda who were willing to attend and participate in the Malang City Government's Ramadan Safari which was a moment to get closer to the community.
"This Ramadan Safari is a moment to foster friendship and improve communication between the government and the community, which of course is a very good capital to work together to build a Classy Mbois City of Malang," explained Wahyu.
From a series of Ramadan Safaris held by the Malang City Government since the beginning of Ramadan, Wahyu said that there was a close togetherness in every environment. As seen in the Baitul Jannah Mosque which is located in an elite housing complex, but the warm atmosphere of togetherness is very much felt. "This is good, the obligation to pray in congregation is still well maintained. We are happy to be here," said Wahyu.
On this occasion, assistance was also given to orphans, the poor, the poor and mosque administrators as a form of concern and evidence of the government's presence in the midst of society. (cah/yn)
