Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The 8th Ramadan Safari of the Mayor of Malang together with the ranks of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) was held at the Ar-Ridho Mosque, Jalan Gamalama No. 60 Tidar, Pisangcandi Village, Sukun District, Friday night (14/3/2025).
After performing tarawih prayers, Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat handed over aid to mosque administrators and also to orphans and the poor. In his speech, Wahyu said that this Ramadan was the first Ramadan since he was inaugurated on February 20 as Mayor and Ali Muthohirin as Deputy Mayor of Malang.
"For the next five years, we carry the vision of Towards Malang Mbois and Berkelas, which stands for Independent, Cultured, Optimistic, Beautiful, and Prosperous, Sustainable, Collaborative, Efficient, Sustainable, Adaptive, and Synergistic. We describe its implementation in four missions, five leading programs and Dasa Bhakti," he explained.
In realizing all of this, the number one person in the Malang City Government emphasized that his party certainly cannot do it alone, it needs support from all parties, including the community in Pisangcandi Village.
"Therefore, we ask for prayers and constructive support so that we remain steadfast in building our beloved Malang City," he said.
According to him, this Ramadan Safari can be the right moment to absorb the aspirations of the community, see the existing conditions directly, and find the best solutions to the problems faced.
"I hope that the spirit of this month of Ramadan can be a blessing for all of us in fostering a sense of togetherness, care, solidarity and sincerity. Not only in the context of Islamic brotherhood, but also wathaniah which in this case is a collaboration to build the city of Malang," he invited.
Therefore, the Mayor of Malang once again invited all attendees and congregations of the Ar-Ridho Mosque to actively participate in every development program that has been planned.
