Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang Tahes Club (MTC) extended family held a breaking of the fast together with the poor and disabled at the Grand Mercure Malang Mirama Hotel, Thursday (13/3/2025). In this routine agenda held every Ramadan, MTC also handed over donations to 111 poor and disabled as a form of concern for others, especially those who need a helping hand.
MTC Chairman, Yusron Virmanza when opening the event said that the number 111 has the meaning of welcoming the 111th anniversary of Malang City on April 1. This event is also a form of gratitude, hope and prayer for Malang City to be more advanced and better in the future.
"What we do may not be much, but we hope to help people who really need a helping hand. We would like to thank all parties who have supported and made this event a success, such as the MTC Supervisors, sponsors, and other communities," added Yusron.
This breaking of the fast with the poor and disabled received appreciation from the Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat, who is also one of the MTC Supervisors. According to him, the humanitarian programs or activities carried out by MTC so far have been quite good and are not only carried out during the month of Ramadan.
"No less important, MTC begins the commemoration of the 111th anniversary of Malang City which falls on April 1, 2025. This is extraordinary! The noble hopes and prayers pinned on Malang City in the month of Ramadan, a month full of blessings, will surely come true," continued the number one man in the Malang City Government when giving his speech.
Wahyu also hopes that this kind of concern and social activities can be followed by other communities to help people who are in need. In addition, so that togetherness and respect in various elements of society are increasingly built stronger.
The event was attended by figures and stakeholders of Malang Raya, starting from the Commander of Division 2 Kostrad Major General Susilo, Commander of Poltekad Brigadier General Triadi Murwanto, Commander of Military District 083/Baladhika Jaya Colonel Inf Setyo Wibowo, Commander of Military District 0833 Malang City Lieutenant Colonel Arm Aris Gunawan, Commander of Military District 0818 Malang-Batu Lieutenant Colonel Inf Yuda Sancoyo, and from the Harley Davidson Club Indonesia (HDCI) Community of Malang.
