Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Good synergy and collaboration will improve the quality of public services, one of which is the fulfillment of public health needs. This was emphasized by the Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat, when attending the 51st Anniversary Thanksgiving of the Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) which was combined with a breaking of the fast event at the Ascent Hotel, Wednesday (15/3/2025).

"As part of our vision and mission, there are ten community service programs called Dasa Bakti, one of which is Ngalam Tahes (Malang language meaning Healthy Malang). We strongly support and encourage that we can jointly run various programs that synergize between the Malang City Government and PPNI, so that nurses in Malang City can be stronger in welcoming Indonesia Emas 2045," said Wahyu Hidayat.
The number one person in the Malang City Government explained that Ngalam Tahes focuses on improving the health of the community which is one of the Dasa Bakti to realize the vision of Towards Malang Mbois and Berkelas. Therefore, the Malang City Government is committed to continuing to collaborate with various parties, including PPNI to realize a healthy and quality city.
PPNI Anniversary will be celebrated on Monday (17/3/2025) and will be a momentum to strengthen the joint commitment to improving public health. On this occasion, the Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat, also gave his appreciation to all PPNI members who have shown extraordinary dedication and contribution.
"Nurses have made a huge contribution, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Through their hard work and sacrifice, they have given their best to the community. I hope we can continue to collaborate and synergize in implementing various health programs for a healthier, stronger, and happier Malang City," he said.
Wahyu reiterated that his party is committed to continuing to support PPNI programs that focus on improving health services. "With good collaboration, we can ensure that Malang City remains a healthy, safe, and comfortable city for all its citizens," he concluded.
The event, which took place warmly and intimately, became a symbol of the importance of collaboration between the government and medical personnel, to strengthen the spirit of realizing a vision of better health for the city of Malang. (yul/yn)
