Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso delivered directions in preparation for welcoming Eid al-Fitr to all levels of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Malang City Government. He conveyed this while leading the morning assembly in front of Malang City Hall, Monday (17/3/2025).
Welcoming Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah, the Regional Secretary of Malang City encouraged the ranks of related regional apparatuses, including sub-district and village heads to make preparations and coordination. This is considering that there will be several points that will be used as centers of community activities and places to perform Eid prayers. "This readiness is to be coordinated, assisted, and facilitated so that the activities of the community who perform the Eid prayer can run smoothly," said Erik.
Not only that, Erik also emphasized the importance of controlling inflation ahead of the National Religious Holiday (HBKN) Idulfitri. For regional apparatuses that are closely related to controlling inflation, availability of basic necessities, and price stability, Erik hopes that activities such as the Cheap Food Movement will be further optimized.
"We also coordinate with agencies that hold similar activities so that ahead of Eid al-Fitr all basic necessities are available at affordable prices," he continued.
In the implementation of this morning's roll call, the Regional Secretary did not forget to remind all his staff to take part in disaster prevention and handling efforts. Seeing the high rainfall in Malang City lately, Erik hopes that all levels of the Malang City Government will continue to be vigilant and actively report to the technical regional apparatus in charge, so that quick steps for handling can be taken immediately.
