Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – 550 joint personnel from the Malang City Police, TNI, and related elements from the Malang City Government (Pemkot) such as Satpol PP, Transportation Agency, Health Agency, BPBD, and other agencies are ready to secure and ensure the smooth flow of homecoming and Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah.

This was conveyed by the Malang City Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Nanang Haryono after leading the 2025 Ketupat Semeru Operation Readiness Troops Roll Call in front of Malang City Hall, Thursday (20/3/2025). He stated that the number of joint personnel did not include personnel Power On Hand ready to move at any time if needed
In his direction, Senior Commissioner Nanang said that all personnel will be placed in several points. "The security posts are at three points, one in Blimbing, one at the Madyopuro Toll exit, and one more at the UB Bridge. Another service post is in front of the Kota Baru Train Station," he said.
Later, this security and service post will be on standby 24 hours for two weeks starting from March 28, 2025 to April 8, 2025. Unlike the security post, Kombes Pol Nanang explained that the facilities at the service post are made more complete with a resting place, health facilities and a children's playground.
"We inform the public, please come, 24 hours (service) there. All agencies and stakeholders are in the post to provide services to the public for 24 hours, and during the ketupat operation, namely from the 23rd starting at 00.00 until April 8," he explained.
In addition to preparing security posts and service posts, Nanang said that the Malang City Police also prepared a vehicle deposit service for the public. The service includes 2-wheeled and 4-wheeled vehicles, with locations spread across Polsek, Polres, security posts, Kodim and Koramil.
The Malang City Police Chief also appealed to the public not to be careless, especially when leaving the house for a long time and empty. He asked the public to immediately report their departure plans to the local linmas, security officers, bhabinkamtibmas, or bhabinsa.
"So that we can map and monitor the security of the houses that are left for homecoming, so that the risk of burglary or theft can be minimized as much as possible," he concluded.
