Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat, together with the ranks of the Malang City Government, carried out the 1446 Hijri Ramadan Safari at the Cahyaningati Mosque in the Permata Jingga Housing Complex, Malang City, Thursday (20/3/2025).
In his speech, the Mayor of Malang expressed his gratitude for being able to participate in the Safari Ramadan series in a healthy condition. "On behalf of myself and the Malang City Government, we wish you a happy Ramadan fasting. Today is the 20th night, in the last ten days of course the worship must be more diligent, because there is a night that is awaited by all Muslims, namely the night of Lailatul Qadr," said Wahyu.
On this occasion, Wahyu also hopes for support and prayers from the people of Malang City, including the congregation and residents around the Cahyaningati Mosque, so that he and Ali Muthohirin can carry out their mandate as Mayor of Malang and Deputy Mayor of Malang well. Wahyu said that the moment of the inauguration of 961 regional heads simultaneously by the President of the Republic of Indonesia on March 20, 2025, was a historic moment for the Indonesian nation.
According to him, this Ramadan Safari is a very appropriate moment, not only to strengthen the bonds of Islamic brotherhood, but also to build togetherness to realize a better and more classy Malang City.
In the implementation of Safari Ramadan, collaboration and synergy are always strengthened. This is evident from the excellent cooperation established with PCNU Malang City, Baznas Malang City, DMI Malang City, and other related parties who helped make this routine agenda a success. "Today's Safari Ramadan is the ninth implementation, and this is truly extraordinary," said Wahyu.
The Mayor of Malang on this occasion also expressed his appreciation to the mosque administrators and also the entire congregation of the Cahyaningati Mosque. Wahyu also invited all residents to participate in the development, because the success of development in the region cannot be separated from the important role of all parties including the community.
On the same occasion, the caretaker of Cahyaningati Mosque, Rahmad Sani, admitted that he was very happy with the presence of the Mayor of Malang along with the ranks of the Malang City Government at the Cahyaningati Mosque. According to him, this Ramadan Safari is a good moment to bring the ranks of the Malang City Government closer to the community, one of which is the congregation of the Cahyaningati Mosque. (cah/yn)
