Even though tenant. culinary becomes a new attraction at Klojen Market, Wahyu emphasized that the Malang City Government is committed to continuing to maintain the existence of the original traders who have previously been selling for a long time at the market. By carrying the concept one-stop service, Wahyu hopes that Klojen Market will not only be a place for culinary tourism, but also a place to shop to fulfill needs.

"I have instructed the Head of the Trade and Industry Office not to leave the original traders, and to make it balanced, 50-50. Because later people will still shop, and those who sell are also happy, because of this culinary they will automatically be lifted too," he said.

In order to provide comfort to visitors, Wahyu said that the Malang City Government is trying to formulate parking arrangements in the Klojen Market area so as not to disrupt the smooth flow of traffic around it. However, Wahyu said that further discussions are needed with related parties to decide on the alternatives to be chosen.

“There is a proposal to make the concept like car Free Day. But we will also look at other options, whether land acquisition? Or half traffic arrangements, for example one way at certain hours so that parking can be optimal. Later we will arrange it, so that visitors are accommodated and comfortable to come here," he concluded. (iu/yn)
