That is what was depicted when 94 students of class VIII of SMPK Kolese Santo Yusup (Kosayu) 1 Malang City together with their accompanying teachers carried out outdoor learning to the Malang City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) building, Monday (14/4/2025).
Algebra teacher for grade 8 of SMPK Kosayu 1 Malang City, Theresia Ani Rahayu, said that the students she invited this time were undergoing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5).
"In addition to conducting learning in the classroom, we also take students to learn outside the classroom," explained Ani, Theresia Ani Rahayu's nickname.
Ani also hopes that through this activity, her students will be able to increase their insight and become more familiar with democracy, as well as the duties and functions of the DPRD.
"So the hope is that children have a real picture of what tasks are carried out by these people's representatives, and what are their duties and authorities?" explained Ani.
In addition, on this occasion students also learned about democracy, such as the stages of general elections and so on. "Incidentally the day after tomorrow the children will undergo the election of the OSIS Chairperson, and learning about democracy is very relevant," he added. ()
