Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Plenary Meeting of the Malang City DPRD with the agenda of Submitting the Results of the Discussion and Decision-Making of the DPRD on the Accountability Statement Report (LKPj) of the Mayor of Malang for the 2024 budget year was held in the Plenary Meeting Room of the Malang City DPRD, Wednesday (16/4/2025).
In this plenary meeting, the Chairman of the Special Committee (Pansus) LKPj, Danny Agung Prasetyo, read out 24 points to the executive ranks, including those related to Building Construction Approval (PBG), completion of the construction of Blimbing Market and also Gadang Main Market.
Responding to this, Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat said that the various notes would be followed up and used as evaluation material for 2025. "Earlier there were indeed several important notes, and indeed because this is an accountability that we must follow up on," he said.
Wahyu gave an example, such as regarding the Blimbing and Gadang Markets, in 2024 his party had not been able to complete it completely. However, in 2025 this will be one of the priority programs to be realized immediately.
"The completion of the two markets cannot be immediate. But we have made efforts and have met with the managers. The process stages, I have asked the managers, and we ask for time to complete immediately," added Mayor Wahyu.
Furthermore, the number one person in the Malang City Government said that in 2025 this will be...follow up what the follow-up is like. If there is none, then a step will be taken as another solution. "If Pasar Gadang is resolved, it will be attempted to be faster than Pasar Blimbing," explained Wahyu.
Wahyu said that the resolution of the two market problems would be attempted as much as possible in 2025, because this is also related to third parties who are involved. "Of course our policy must look at the existing cooperation. So it can't be done immediately," Wahyu said.
Meanwhile, for PBG, according to him, the problem is currently related to the central government and must be resolved immediately. "But if you look at the number, out of five thousand PBG, more than three thousand have been resolved. This achievement is already an acceleration, it will continue and until now the results are extraordinary," said Wahyu.
In this plenary meeting, the Malang City DPRD accepted and ratified the 2024 Malang Mayor's LKPj which was marked by the signing by the Chairperson of the Malang City DPRD, Amithya Ratnanggani Siraduhita. After the ratification, the woman in the hijab admitted that she would continue to oversee various programs initiated by the Malang City Government. (say/yn)
