Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Still in the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah, the Malang City Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) held a Halalbihalal for Educators and Education Personnel of PAUD Malang City at the Islamic Center Building of Malang City, Monday (21/4/2025). The lively atmosphere was very much felt in the event which was attended by 2.133 people who are members of various organizations such as the Association of Educators and Early Childhood Education Personnel of Indonesia (Himpaudi), the Indonesian Kindergarten Teachers Association (IGTKI), the Cluster Activity Center (PKG), and the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Teachers Association (Igaba).
Also present at this halalbihalal were the Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat, the Head of the Malang City PAUD, Hanik Andriani Wahyu Hidayat, the Regional Secretary of Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso, along with the Chairperson of the Malang City Darma Wanita Persatuan (DWP), as well as the ranks of the Malang City Education and Culture Office.
On this occasion, Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat expressed his appreciation to PAUD teachers and educators. Wahyu said that education for early childhood is important to provide a foundation for children before moving on to higher education, as well as preparing a quality generation to realize the Golden Indonesia 2045.
"Thank you to the heroes of education, because for early childhood it is the golden age, so we ensure the optimal development of the child's brain and physique. In the hands of you (a polite Javanese krama meaning all of you), we can realize Golden Indonesia together," he said.
Furthermore, the elementary school education program is certainly in line with the vision and mission of Malang City which is also stated in Dasa Bakti, one of which is Ngalam Pinter to improve the quality of education. "This program is focused on improving equitable education services, so that no child in Malang City is left behind in achieving the future, becoming a cultured, optimistic, and innovative generation as part of our joint efforts towards Malang Mbois and Berkelas," said the Mayor of Malang.
Meanwhile, the Head of PAUD Malang City Hanik Andriani Wahyu Hidayat encouraged PAUD teachers to continue to develop their abilities as educators. "We can give something valuable to children when we have competence and want to continue learning to improve it," she concluded.
Not only a moment to strengthen friendship, this activity is a forum for capacity development. Guided by Professional Trainer Rian Priyo Hardi, S.Pd., CT.NNLP., this session aims to motivate educators and PAUD education personnel to be able to maximize their potential to improve the quality of learning and support child development.
