Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Commemoration Ceremony of Regional Autonomy Day (Otda) XXIX in Malang City was held in the front yard of Malang City Hall, Friday (25/4/2025). The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Erik Setyo Santoso, ST, MT acted as the inspector of the Commemoration Ceremony of Otda XXIX which raised the theme 'Central and Regional Synergy in Building the Archipelago Towards Golden Indonesia 2045'.
In his message, Regional Secretary Erik emphasized that the presence of all elements in this ceremony is a form of joint commitment in strengthening the implementation of regional autonomy in Indonesia. This moment is a means of reflection and evaluation of the journey of regional autonomy, as well as a foothold for formulating strategic steps forward.
On this occasion, Erik conveyed the message of the Minister of Home Affairs inviting all levels of government to strengthen commitment and align steps between the central and regional governments. According to him, synergy and collaboration between institutions are the main keys in realizing the nation's ideals towards Indonesia Emas 2045.
"Unity of vision, alignment of strategic policy direction, and synchronous and sustainable implementation steps are the main strengths of the nation," said Erik, quoting the message of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
In addition, Erik emphasized the importance of implementing the direction and message of the Minister of Home Affairs, especially in realizing the four development missions, five leading programs strengthened by the Dasa Bakti Unggulan program of the Mayor of Malang and the Deputy Mayor of Malang. He called all of these programs a solid foundation in accelerating development towards a Malang Mbois and Berkelas.
Not to forget, in the ceremony attended by the ranks of the Malang City Forkompimda, Erik also reminded about the values of the nation's struggle. "Moreover, April 21st was the commemoration of Kartini Day, a hero of women's emancipation. Therefore, I would like to convey my congratulations to the great women in Malang City," he said.
Erik hopes that Kartini's spirit will continue to encourage women's role in advancing Malang City. The 2025 Regional Autonomy Commemoration Ceremony was closed with the hope that the spirit of regional autonomy will be the driving force in realizing better governance, excellent public services, and equitable public welfare.
