Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat invited all elements to continue to maintain togetherness and the spirit of forgiving each other. He conveyed this while attending the Halalbihalal of the Nahdlatul Ulama Family of Malang State University (UM) at the Sasana Budaya Building, UM, Malang City, Saturday (26/4/2025).
In his speech, Wahyu emphasized the importance of the bonds of brotherhood to strengthen Islamic brotherhood between residents. "While still in the month of Syawal in the embrace of the bonds of brotherhood, today allow me personally and on behalf of the Malang City Government to convey Minal Aidin wal Faizin, please forgive me physically and mentally," said Wahyu.
In addition to the message about the importance of strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, the Mayor of Malang also conveyed the commitment of the Malang City Government to realize the vision of 'Malang Mbois Berkelas'. Wahyu said that this achievement requires support from all elements of society, including the NU family.
"Our participation is very important to create a conducive atmosphere for the growth of religious values and good morals in society," he continued.
Wahyu also expressed his appreciation for the contribution of Malang State University in advancing education in Malang City, and hoped that the collaboration that has been established between various parties so far will be further strengthened.
Wahyu further invited participants to synergize in building the quality of themselves and their organizations to advance Malang City. "Let's synergize and collaborate to realize a better and more prosperous city," he concluded.
The halalbihalal event took place solemnly with a series of activities to strengthen the relationship that is expected to continue to strengthen relations between residents and contribute to the development of a more advanced Malang City. (yul/yn)
