Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – A warm and together atmosphere colored the Halalbihalal of Educators and Education Personnel (Tendik) of elementary and junior high school levels throughout Malang City which was held by the Malang City Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) at the Malang City Islamic Center Building, Monday (28/4/2025). The Halalbihalal which carried the theme 'Unlimited Gathering, Realizing Quality Performance' was a moment to strengthen ties as well as strengthen commitment towards Golden Indonesia 2045.

Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat, who was present accompanied by Malang Deputy Mayor Ali Muthohirin, said in his speech that educators are the spearhead of human resource development (HRD). "They are all unsung heroes. They have an important role to play in improving the quality of education to be better and classy, especially in 2045 when we are targeting Indonesia Emas. Therefore, in addition to guiding students, they also need to continue to improve their own competence so that they are able to provide added value to students," explained Wahyu.
Wahyu emphasized that the Malang City Government is also committed to supporting teachers and education personnel, not only in terms of human resources, but also in terms of providing facilities and infrastructure. This is in line with President Prabowo Subianto's 4th Asta Cita which emphasizes strengthening human resources, science, technology, and education as the foundation for the nation's progress.
Amidst the challenges of technological development, Malang Mayor Wahyu also emphasized the importance of the role of teachers in shaping the character of students who are not only academically intelligent, but also able to socialize and adapt to the environment. "Teachers must take responsibility for how students behave and interact," he said.
On the same occasion, Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ali Muthohirin, also provided motivation to educators. Deputy Mayor Ali also expressed his appreciation for the dedication of teachers who continue to be at the forefront of educating the next generation of the nation. "This gathering not only strengthens the relationship between teachers, but also becomes a momentum to strengthen the spirit of collaboration and innovation for better education," he said.
The various things conveyed by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Malang are in line with and are a manifestation of the President's direction as stated in the 8th Asta Cita, namely the harmonization of education and social life which are part of realizing a just, prosperous, and harmonious society with the environment and culture.
With the spirit of togetherness and shared vision, the Malang City Government hopes that activities like this will continue to be a positive energy in encouraging inclusive and sustainable educational transformation, towards Golden Indonesia 2045.
This halalbihalal, which was attended by 2.500 educators and education personnel from elementary and junior high school levels throughout Malang City, was also attended by the Regional Secretary of Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso, as well as heads of regional apparatus within the Malang City Government.
