Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In the near future, the drainage project in the Jalan Soekarno Hatta (Suhat) area, the funding for which comes from the East Java Provincial Government, will be carried out.
Drainage improvements in the Lowokwaru District area have so far been carried out as well as possible, especially regarding the environmental impact.
Malang Mayor Wahyu Hidayat, when met on Saturday (10/5/2025) revealed that his party had made Contract Change Order (CCO) which adapts to conditions in the field, and the planning of this program refers to the East Java Provincial Government.
"The revision received support from the East Java Provincial Government as the budget contributor, including Deputy Governor Emil Dardak who has reviewed the project location and approved the reduction in the number of trees to be cut down," added Wahyu.
The number one person in the Malang City Government added that this drainage project uses the East Java Provincial Government's APBD, the implementation of which will begin soon. "The Malang City Government in this case is only a party that facilitates the project location," he explained.
Wahyu further hopes that this program will be implemented soon. "The Deputy Governor of East Java, Emil Dardak has seen and come to the location and approved it, hopefully it will be realized soon," he concluded. (say/yn)
