The Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat before carrying out flag off expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this event. According to him, Malang Fun Run 2025 is not only an event to commemorate the Anniversary of Malang City, but also a concrete step to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining health.
"In addition to celebrating the anniversary of Malang City, this event is expected to encourage people to be more concerned about health. More than that, Malang Fun Run is an implementation of one of the Dasa Bakti Unggulan, namely Ngalam Tahes," explained Wahyu.
