Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat, gave a friendly greeting and symbolically sent off East Java Jamboree the Indonesian Modern Vespa (Move) community at Malang City Hall, Saturday (17/5/2025).
The Mayor of Malang in his speech appreciated the activities of the Move Indonesia community which consists of Vespa enthusiasts from various regions.
According to him, the Move jamboree's stopover in Malang City is a good moment to introduce tourist destinations in Malang City with the beauty of the landscape and heritage tourism it has.
"I really like Vespa, and I often go around using Vespa. Activities like this are also a manifestation of Malang City's friendliness to all existing communities," explained Wahyu.
According to him, activities like this are in line with the flagship program that supports the achievement of development missions, with the hope that it can bring a positive impact to the City of Malang.
The Head of the Move Indonesia Community, Faisal, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from the Malang City Government for the space and opportunity provided. "The Move Indonesia Community really likes to explore the beauty of the city in various regions, by driving or rolling city. Today we will drive from Malang City to Batu City," explained Faisal.
In addition, the person in charge of the East Java Vespa Move Indonesia Jamboree, Javael Hidayat, said that the host of this jamboree is Malang City.
"The series of activities carried out began with a friendly gathering at Malang City Hall, then continued with driving around Malang City and ending at Batu City Agrotourism," he explained. (cah/yn)
