Starfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ali Muthohirin attended the halal bihalal of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Lamongan residents throughout Malang Raya at the Malang Creative Center (MCC) in Malang City, Sunday (18/5/2025).

The Deputy Mayor said that Malang City continues to strive to become a classy and beautiful city, with a development vision that not only covers infrastructure and city planning, but also touches on the welfare of its citizens.
"Through the mission of 'creating a prosperous and independent society based on a stable and adaptive economy', we open a wide collaboration space with all elements of society. Including migrants who have made Malang their second home," explained Deputy Mayor Ali.
For this reason, the Deputy Mayor said that this halalbihalal is not merely regional in nature. On the contrary, this activity is one of the media to unite spirit and togetherness, a meeting point that strengthens social and economic networks across regions. According to him, the progress of a city cannot be built sectorally, but must be driven through collective community participation. The existence of this Lamongan UMKM and culinary community is a valuable social asset for Malang City.
"As the wise proverb says, 'where the earth is stepped on, there the sky is upheld', then it is fitting that each of us who live and develop businesses in Bumi Arema also uphold local values, respect culture, and support the development programs of Malang City," he said.
Furthermore, the Deputy Mayor said that this adaptive and collaborative attitude is the main foundation for realizing a harmonious, harmonious, and prosperous society. "I really appreciate this halalbihalal initiative, which is not only an event to forgive each other and strengthen friendship, but also a place for reflection to jointly contribute to regional economic development," he said.
The Deputy Mayor also prayed for UMKM and culinary actors in the community environment to be more advanced, creative, and ready to compete amidst the dynamics of the times that are full of challenges. He also invited all parties to continue to maintain conduciveness, a spirit of mutual cooperation, and a sense of belonging to this City of Education.
