"May Allah SWT always provide blessings and protection to prospective Hajj pilgrims, especially during the Hajj pilgrimage until they return safely to their homeland and reunite with their relatives," he said in prayer.
The Mayor of Malang hopes that all preparations for performing the hajj pilgrimage have been completed. "Take advantage of the days before departure by increasing socializing and worshiping. Strengthen your heart, be sincere, calm and leave all negative thoughts behind so that you remain devout in worship during the hajj pilgrimage. Remember, the values of the mabruran hajj play an important role in improving the quality of faith, knowledge, and good deeds, both individually and socially," he said.
According to Wahyu, the 36 prospective hajj pilgrims from the Malang City Government ASN, are an illustration that in the midst of their busy lives as civil servants and public servants, regional apparatus do not forget one of their obligations to perform the hajj when they are able.
"Of course, it is expected that upon returning from the Hajj, it will also be followed by high spirits in carrying out duties and obligations as a civil servant in providing the best service to the community as an implication of social piety. God willing, if these conditions can be met, then the accepted Hajj will always await prospective pilgrims," said the number one person in the Malang City Government.
The Mayor of Malang also again advised all prospective hajj pilgrims to always maintain their physical, mental and material health. "Moreover, considering the weather conditions in Saudi Arabia which are different from those in Indonesia, and also the fairly dense worship schedule that requires prime physical readiness. Patience and sincerity from prospective hajj pilgrims are also very much needed," he said again.
Concluding his direction, Wahyu hoped that the prospective hajj pilgrims would also provide assistance in the form of prayers for the safety and welfare of the Malang City Government apparatus in particular, and all Malang City residents in general, in order to create a safe, peaceful and calm atmosphere for the common welfare.
"Of course, we all also pray, so that the prospective pilgrims will always be in good health so that they can carry out the Hajj well and have a prosperous Hajj," he concluded.
