Malang City Public Service Awarded Excellent Service Predicate by KemenPANRB


Jakarta (malangkota.go.id) – The commitment of the Malang City Government (Pemkot) in providing excellent public services to the community has received appreciation from the Indonesian Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB). This achievement is in the form of an award as a Public Service Organization with the Predicate 'Excellent Service' in the Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Service Delivery Performance (PEKPPP) which was presented in Jakarta, Monday (20/5/2025).

Deputy for Public Services of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Otok Kuswandaru, presented a certificate of appreciation to the Assistant for Government and Public Welfare of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni.

This award certificate was presented by the Deputy for Public Services of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Otok Kuswandaru to the Assistant for Government and Public Welfare of the Malang City Regional Secretariat, Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni, representing the Mayor of Malang.

The predicate of 'Excellent Service' or very good was received by the Malang City Government with a Public Service Index (IPP) value of 4.57 and category A. Three agencies under the Malang City Government that achieved excellent service values ​​were the Social Service, Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (Dinsos P3AP2KB) with a value of 4,55, Malang City Hospital with a value of 4,69, and the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) with a value of 4,73.

Met after receiving the award, Assistant for Government and Public Welfare of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni ​​said that this achievement is also proof of the synergy and good collaboration carried out between regional apparatuses within the Malang City Government in building a well-integrated public service system. "This is very proud for all of us. This shows how regional apparatuses provide the best service to their citizens, and how this public service has been integrated between one regional apparatus and another," she explained.

Despite receiving the title of Excellent Service, Ida emphasized that the Malang City Government continues to be committed to improving its homework and continuing to improve the quality of public services. She also hopes that this award can be a trigger for the enthusiasm of ASN in the Malang City Government environment in providing better services to the community, so that there is satisfaction in the community for the public services provided by the Malang City Government.

"If public services are indeed not allowed to stagnate, right? So how do we provide the best service to the community, so that they also feel that the service provided by the Malang City Government is the best service, and they as citizens feel satisfied and happy with the after-service provided by the Malang City Government," concluded the woman who is familiarly called Dayu.

This proud achievement also received appreciation from the Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat. Met separately, the Mayor of Malang said that the predicate of 'Excellent Service' pinned on the City of Malang is proof of the implementation of good public services.

"This is proof that the implementation of ideal public services is the main priority of the Malang City Government. This is in line with the Malang City development mission to realize efficient and synergistic governance and public services, which are realized in the Dasa Bakti Unggulan," he said.

Furthermore, the number one person in the Malang City Government advised his staff not to let this achievement make them careless and easily complacent, but instead to become a strong motivation to improve performance and commitment to provide the best public service in order to realize the welfare of the community.
