The roll call, which was held as preparation for maintaining security, order, and creating conduciveness in the Malang City area, was attended by the Forkopimda ranks, as well as elements of society and community organizations.

The Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat, appreciated this activity, which he said was a reflection of the spirit of synergy and cross-sector collaboration in creating a safe, comfortable, peaceful, and conducive Malang City for all residents. He emphasized that this step was a response to the instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs to form a Task Force (Satgas) for handling thuggery and problematic mass organizations.

"This step is a strategic, proactive effort to strengthen supervision and prevent potential security disturbances and public order early on. In addition, it is also in order to maintain and increase regional investment," he said.

Wahyu on this occasion also expressed his appreciation for the success of the Malang City Police during the period of May 1-14, 2025, which managed to uncover 24 cases and arrest 35 suspects. He emphasized the importance of vigilance and the active role of all citizens in maintaining security and order, not only relying on law enforcement officers.

"This declaration is a form of collective commitment from all elements of society, government, and security forces to maintain regional stability through a firm and measured collaborative approach," said Wahyu.

As a follow-up, the Mayor of Malang also provided a number of directives, including increasing patrols at vulnerable points, involving community leaders and youth in legal order education, as well as regular data collection and coaching of mass organizations. He also invited all Malang City residents to actively report security disturbances and reject all forms of actions that disrupt public order.

The activity, which is also a manifestation of the Dasa Bakti Unggulan, namely Ngalam Nyaman, is expected to strengthen coordination and increase the sense of security and support a friendly and harmonious investment climate in Malang City. On this occasion, the Mayor of Malang also read the declaration which was followed by all participants of the assembly. (yul/yn)
