Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ali Muthohirin attended and opened the 108th Anniversary of the Malang City Aisyiyah Regional Leadership (PDA) at the Malang City Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PDM) Hall, Jalan Gajayana No. 28B, Ketawanggede Village, Lowokwaru District, Malang City, Saturday (14/6/2025).
This year's Milad carries the theme 'Strengthening Village-Based Food Security Qaryah Thayyibah Towards National Food Security'. According to Deputy Mayor Ali, the theme is very relevant to the direction of government policy, including the Malang City Government (Pemkot), which is currently intensively strengthening the food security sector.
Deputy Mayor Ali also encouraged Aisyiyah to collaborate with the Food and Agriculture Security Agency (Dispangtan) and the Health Agency (Dinkes) in realizing the program. One concrete form is the establishment of food warehouses in each sub-district.
Ali added that the Aisyiyah food security program could be synergized with the Ngalam Ngopeni program that has been run by the Malang City Government. Thus, Aisyiyah mothers can be the spearhead in strengthening food security at the grassroots level.
Deputy Mayor Ali also said that Aisyiyah has the potential to take a strategic role in the Red and White Cooperative (KMP) initiated by President Prabowo Subianto. KMP will be formed in every sub-district, and according to him, will have a positive impact on the community. "We believe that KMP will provide many benefits.
