Malang, (malangkota.go.id) – Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City, Erik Setyo Santoso, invited all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Malang City Government to help make the IX East Java Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) a success, which will be held from June 28 to July 5, 2025.
This was conveyed by Erik in the morning assembly which took place at Malang City Hall, Monday (16/6/2025).
Erik emphasized the importance of the role of ASN as the spearhead in creating a positive atmosphere and supporting the smooth running of this provincial-level sporting event.
"Let's make sure we are good, friendly hosts and ready to welcome all guests and athletes from various regions," he said.
He also encouraged all ASN to actively inform and socialize the implementation of Porprov to the public through various communication channels.
"Inform, publish, and echo the spirit of public service to all levels of society. This is a great momentum, let's echo it together," he said.
Not only through information, the Regional Secretary also invited ASN to support Malang City athletes directly, including attending the match venue. However, he reminded that such support must be balanced with public service obligations.
"Support athletes with various real actions, including coming directly to the stadium. But remember, public services should not be neglected," he said.
Furthermore, Erik said that Porprov is also an opportunity to revive public interest in sports, especially among ASN.
"With the spirit of Porprov, let's increase interest in sports. If the body is healthy, work enthusiasm will increase, and performance will be better," he said.
The 2025th East Java Porprov XNUMX is a proud event for Malang City as one of the hosts.
