On this occasion, the Malang City Regional Digitalization Acceleration and Expansion Team (TP2DD) received an award in the category of the Most Accelerated Regional Government Credit Card (KKPD) 2024 in the Malang Raya, Pasuruan, and Probolinggo Regions. This award was presented by the Advisor of the KPw Bank Indonesia of East Java Province, Ridzky Prihadi Tjahyanto to the Mayor of Malang, Wahyu Hidayat.
The Mayor of Malang said that this award was the result of the Malang City Government's commitment to following up on the mandate stated in Presidential Decree Number 3 of 2021 concerning the Task Force for the Acceleration and Expansion of Regional Digitalization (Satgas P2DD) and Article 8 of the Decree of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Number 147 of 2021 concerning Membership, Duties, and Work Mechanisms of the P2DD Task Force.
"This means that the Malang City Government in accelerating and expanding regional digitalization, especially for regional government credit cards, is considered the fastest by Bank Indonesia Malang. Thank you, this is also an evaluation for us that what we are doing is one step better than yesterday and we will continue to improve," he explained.
Wahyu hopes that in the future the Malang City Government will be able to immediately optimize the digital process in every transaction, both in the government environment and transactions in the community. Thus, the digitalization of this transaction will support the speed and ease of the central and regional government goods and services shopping process.
In addition, it is also to improve efficiency and transparency in the accountability of budget use for central and regional government spending. This electronic-based regional financial management is also believed to be more transparent and accountable.
"We hope that in the future it will not only be accelerated but also be able to fill the Regional Government Transaction Electronification Index (IETPD) well and digitally. Thank you for the collaboration from TP2DD which consists of cross-sectors, hopefully in the future we can be even better," he concluded. (ari/yn)
