"I came here to see firsthand the progress of the MBG program initiated by the President. Earlier I reviewed one of the production kitchens. In general, it has met the requirements, but there are several technical matters that need to be improved," explained KSP.

KSP highlighted the importance of hygiene and food circulation management in the MBG kitchen, from raw materials entering to food distribution. In addition, he also provided input on wastewater management that can be used to water food plants around the kitchen area, to be more efficient and sustainable.

Furthermore, KSP together with the Mayor of Malang Wahyu Hidayat who also accompanied also reviewed the readiness of the People's School facilities located in the former Poltekom Tlogowaru building, which will be intended for children from underprivileged families. For the first phase, this program is targeted to accommodate 1.000 students in 100 schools spread across various regions.

"This program not only provides access to education, but is also designed with the concept of dormitories, laboratories, CCTV surveillance, and smart board for standardization of learning throughout Indonesia. The President wants to ensure that children from all corners of the country receive education of equal quality,” he explained.

KSP also emphasized that the main objective of the People's School is to break the chain of poverty by providing access to quality education to children who have been marginalized.

"The President pays great attention to education and health as the main foundation of human resource development. I see the progress in Malang is quite good. It just needs to be tidied up and equipped a little. Thank you to the Mayor for his support, and also to the Ministry of Social Affairs and the ranks of the Ministry of Public Works who continue to monitor and verify data directly from the field," he said.

On this occasion, KSP also expressed its high appreciation for the commitment and full support of the Mayor of Malang in overseeing and ensuring the smooth implementation of the two national priority programs.
